My name is Sandra Ruth Ásgeirsdóttir, and I graduated as a Dressmaker from the Technical school Reykjavík in 2012 and have been working as such since then. I also used to work as a stage technician at the National Theatre in Iceland. I learned a lot about theatre and how to work on a production. I was quick to learn new skills and enjoyed working as a part of a team.

In the spring of 2018, I graduated with a first-class BA Hons in Costume and Set Design from Art University Bournemouth. In my final year, I was selected to design for two productions, both set, and Costumes.

I moved to Copenhagen last year and have been working as a freelance seamstress and pattern designer since. I have my own studio in Nørrebro with industrial sewing machines.

I am used to working with people in a fast-paced and goal-oriented environment. I am organized, hard-working, detail-oriented, quick, and enthusiastic to learn and grow within the field of film and theatre.

I am open to working on set as a set decorator, costume assistant, seamstress, or whatever is needed to help out.
